Carbon build-up removal by a team of dedicated experts
Carbon build-up removal by a team of dedicated experts
Engine Carbon Cleaning can do wonders for your vehicle’s all-round performance. Removing carbon deposits is recommended after the vehicle has completed as few as 20,000 miles. This keeps key components like fuel injectors, turbos, EGR Valves, CATs and DPFs clean and working efficiently, meaning no drop in performance or fuel economy and no expensive bills for parts to be replaced that really only need a clean.
Diesel car owners often report up to 8 MPG better economy after a carbon clean and we have seen as high as 24 BHP gains on petrol engines (Audi RS4 4.2 V8) when rolling road (dyno) tested before and after a clean. Many petrol and diesel vehicles that fail their MOT due to emissions being too high, pass no problem at all after our Engine Carbon Clean Service is done. Part of a nationally approved network, our services are available for all ages, makes and models, including petrol, gas (LPG) and diesel variants.
We run diagnostics before a clean and monitor live data throughout the clean process. Around 20% of all faults we find we see in live data that have not flagged a warning light or error code. Schedule a visit to your home or work, where we can complete the job. We offer a flexible service at a competitive price including multi vehicle discounts.

No it is not. Terraclean use liquid/fuel cleaners where as we use pure Oxygen & Hydrogen gases.
Yes it does, it's drawn in through the 'cold' side of the turbo and goes into the engine, after it's cleaned there it exits out and drives the turbo and cleans the variable vanes that commonly suffer from carbon build up. Too much carbon causes restriction in their movement and eventual sticking. This then causes the turbo to not produce enough boost pressure, or produce too much boost causing warning lights, error codes and the engine to go into limp (reduced power) mode. Normally at this point a garage will advise a new turbo is required when all that is really needed is an Engine Carbon Clean.
It does not clean 'through' the injectors like a fuel system cleaner will, but it will decarbon the injector tips that are in the cylinders. As the tips get carbonned they don't atomise the fuel properly. This in turn normally means the engine feels rougher, sounds louder, is less responsive and uses more fuel. It can also cause it to smoke more.
Yes it does, we have a case study where it was seen to reduce DPF contents by between 17 & 20% on a range of trucks, and the contents continued to fall for up to 2 weeks after. We also have direct experience with a customer's VW Golf 2.0 TDi. The DPF had got so blocked the car had gone into 'limp' mode. We gave it 2 cleans and even that was not enough to bring it out of limp mode straight away. After a few days driving though the owner reported it was out of limp mode for the first time in weeks!
Yes it does, we have multiple successes with petrol and diesel CATs that were causing problems before the clean, and then were working properly afterwards.
Yes we can, because we feed gas in through the air intake then we can do any internal combustion engine. No matter if it is a 2-stroke or a 4-stroke.
Yes we can, the rotor tips do need to be in very good condition though.
Yes it will, we see many vehicles that have failed their MOT due to their emissions being too high. After our Engine Carbon Clean they then pass with flying colours.
No it is not, petrol, diesel or gas engines all respond equally well to an Engine Carbon Clean.
No, it will not. We take care to run health checks on your engine before we start. If we find something we are not happy with we will make you aware and not proceed with the clean. Because our cleaners are oxygen and hydrogen, which the engine is already using in gas form in the air it breathes in, and in liquid form in the fuel it burns, then all components, gaskets and seals are made to withstand them.
Some companies introduce 'alien' chemicals in to the engine to do the cleaning and there are reports that these may have damaged engines.
We use industry leading equipment that has been designed and rigorously tested for efficiency and safety for your engine and us the operators. It has gained CE Approval. Our machine is the only machine to have the gases it produces certified as pure. We have been IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) trained, are insured and are part of the only Engine Carbon Clean company to be approved nationally as Trusted Traders!
