Great service. Very happy. Enquired about a remap on my business van. Contacted via WhatsApp link from the website. Great communication, explained exactly what the outcome would be. Booked, arrived and completed without issue. Thanks for your time Gary. All the best for the future.
Excellent service from Gary! Told me about crank pressure being low, remapped my car and in effect completely transformed the driving experience and afterwards made sure the readings were spot on. Very professional and talkative, top bloke and top service.
Gary had done a Remap & Carbon clean for my Mazda 6 2016 model. He has done a excellent job. I am very happy with the service he provided. I will recommend him to everyone.
Remapping uses the software on your ECU (Electronic Control Unit) as a base, and we make changes to that software and write the new files back on over the top of the originals. We always keep a copy of your original software in case it needs to be loaded back onto your vehicle in the future.
Most likely the answer is yes, most cars built after the year 2000 are able to be remapped. If you give us your registration number we can look up the details of your vehicle and then check on our systems. We will also be able to tell you the gains and prices too.
A DPF is a Diesel Particulate Filter. It is in the exhaust system to trap soot particles. Catalytic Convertors reduce harmful gases, as does Ad-Blue.
The DPF will need cleaning if the contents have got too high for the vehicle to safely clean itself. When the vehicle goes past the point it feels it is safe to do a regeneration, it will then most likely put up a warning light on the dashboard, or even put the vehicle into a reduced power (limp) mode.
